THE GREY GHOST is a purpose built 10.2 metre fishing and diving boat designed for fast smooth transportation to all the best fishing and diving spots in the area. Powered by twin 225 HP Yamaha fourstroke engines, providing safe, quiet and reliable transportation at 23 knots. Your safety is of utmost importance so the latest safety equipment is carried and the boat is operated under Safe Ship Management Survey by a fully qualified skipper. The cabin provides shelter with comfortable seating, galley and dining area. Two showers and toilet. Large fridge and Icytech fish box to keep the catch fresh.

THE OWNER Garry Buchanan has been operating boats and fishing the NZ coastline for most of his life, is pationate about fishing and runs a friendly efficient operation. Garry is a qualified Skipper and is assisted by his partner Lee who provides some home cooking and refreshments to keep your strength up during the day. Garry and Lee welcome all nationalities and ages. |

THE SERVICE If the thought of getting your hands smelly and dirty or having to take your fish off the hook and deal with them puts you off going fishing, think again. The Crew will do all that for you and more, even fillet your catch so it's ready for the pan by the time you get back home, all part of the service. We cater for both the experienced and not so experienced providing any necessary assistance during your day on the briney.Our aim is to help you Catch more fish with Catch Charters.
EQUIPMENT Top quality Penn fishing equipment supplied (you are welcome to use your own if you prefer). Terminal tackle is also of an equally high standard ensuring that you have less chance of a valuable fish escaping through failure. Saltice is carried on extended trips to ensure your catch stays fresh. A variety of baits consisting of bonito, pilchard, squid, sanma and mackerel is used and good quality Berley. |
